It's a big temptation, but it is best not to assist with the hatching. During the process they exercise their muscles and gain strength. They don't all make it through the process, but the ones that are not strong enough to make it through the hatch unassisted would probably have been too weak to have survived

I am on pins and needles! That is cuteness overload! Thank you so much for the tips. I hope there are a few few of you to help answer some newbie questions in the future.

Any tips on the actual hatch?? Do any of you assist or just let them do it on their own?

Thanks for the tips, videos, and pics! The 1st egg was a dud. Never developed, was a shipped egg. Shipped Egg 2 I am still waiting on,

and now waiting t see what Egg 3 & 4 do (were not shipped eggs)

I know I am not going to hatch all of them obviously, but I do hope I get some to hatch. Especially being my 1st try at them
