Emus and chickens

Will emus be friendly with chickens if they are raised with them from a very young age?

I don't know if you have emus but they are mean as hell. My old boss had them and they put him in the hospital more than once. They stomped his wife's dog to death.

Stories of aggressive emus usually make me think of 'paddock emus': neurotic fence-walking birds. We have anecdotes of folks needing to keep a grumpy emu at bay with a broom.

And as we understand it, an emu whose space is invaded by an aggressive critter, like a dog, might kill it -- an emu can indeed stomp critters to death ; but I'd want to know the circumstances.

great! I have another question though, one of my emus sounds like it's nose is clogged or some thing and some times has bubbles in its eye. What should I do?

I'm not sure about a emu, but if it were a chicken I would suggest Tylan50
