emus and horses in same pasture

Hi all-

This group has helped me raise my emus from babies, so I return with yet another question. Is there anything wrong with putting horses in the pasture with the emus? they have lived together prior, but my daughter was concerned that the emu poop was not good for the horses feet. Any expert opinions?
