I'm getting my chicks in a month or so and I was wonder what type of feed do they eat for the first few months then what type of food when they get older.

The best thing is to get a specific ratite food for them. Mazuri makes several for different life stages, and if you're in New England Poulin Grain makes one, which is what I use.

And of course you'll want to supplement with fruits and veggies.
