We have a 10x30 enclosure and attached at the end side is the Waddle House with automatic door and pool. Water bowl and feed container are in the middle now as well. Would it work if I used hardwire cloth and close the front 1/2 off to 10x10 and use front part so my Coturnix quail have more of a natural setting instead of being in coops? The ducks also have another automatic door to front of Waddle house where we have a fenced in free range area and another pool. Or do I need to build another enclosure away from the ducks? I’m disabled and was wanting them closer so it would be easier for me to get to them all.

Hi!

Beautiful photos!

I almost think 10x10 is a lot for quail unless you have a lot of quail. Depending, you could probably do a 5x10 to not cut the ducks off as much. It appears you let your ducks free range though so they probably won't care.

Here's a great quail article that might help too. There's a ton of other quail articles too if you just scroll through to find what interests you.
