Encouraging broodiness

Is there a way to encourage broodiness? I just got a couple of amaracauna hens and want my silkie to hatch some

Have a couple of nests with at least 3 golf balls or fake eggs in them. That's always worked for me.

Ok and can you hatch pullet eggs?

I have 6 serama pullete eggs getting ready to hatch now they came from two hens that are like 6 months old.

Ok mine has only laid two eggs and didn't know if I should wait to hatch

I have five chicks under a broody hen at present that has 5 chicks that came from pullet eggs.
