encouraging laying?

with chickens feeding layin mash encourages laying
does it do the same with ducks?
i know increasing their daylight with a lamp will help.
but what are some other ways.
id like to have eggs by mid feb if atall possible.

If you are asking for your call ducks, they are seasonal and will start when they start. Hard to kick start seasonal layers. As the daylight increases naturally and temperatures change for you they will start.
