Was this even a worldwide theory? I got the impression it was some nutjob down south who had managed to get the word spread throughout the states. Were other countries hearing this too?

The sad thing is the people who divested themselves of all wealth trying to "save" others. There was an elderly (yeah, even older than me) guy on the NY morning news who spent his entire retirement savings on advertising trying to "save" others. Sad! I can't help wondering how he feels tonight.

More like daily, common, natural occurance on this earth, not creepy at all. What's creepy and sad, as Sourland pointed out, are the gullible folk's that gave up, got duped, or otherwise lost a lot of money over this.

It's okay, I'll be a nutter with ya! About 5:30 I decide I better get feed before the feed store closes. We got back in the truck about 5:50, the temperature was 82, then 83 and then 84 within in a minute. I looked at my son, and said my Lord Brother it's happening! We are fixing to burn up in a ball of fire.

There for a minute I got nervous! I never ever believed for one minute that the world was ending, until then.

We had 3 ambulances pass by our house shortly after 6 p.m. I told my husband it was those people who spent every dime they had and realized the world was not going to end. I really feel sorry them!
