So...I was listening to the news, and I thought it said there would be some record breaking cold spells across the US end of April.
But then I lost the article and couldn't find it. And I even found some things saying the opposite. And it looks like mainstream news just lies all the time anyway.
I thought it might be helpful to put up a post to discuss end of April weather to help both myself and others. I'd like to know what you think about it? Especially those starting chicks or ducklings right now could be vulnerable if that original Youtube article I was listening to is right.
Where I'm at its not unusual to get a last freeze or sudden dip one day right before the first of May, but I'm in the mountains. A lot of people back east and in the South I think don't expect this. I hope it won't catch people by surprise. And I suppose it could be wrong also.
