Ok - this is all so confusing. I filled out the form with my guess last week when there were 233 participants. I figured entry into the NYD hatch had been completed since the guessing contest was now open. How are we supposed to guess accurately when there were more participants added after? And do I need to resubmit my guess here on this thread? I honestly cannot keep up with all the changes and the volume of posts on these threads to see if this was already answered.

My guess last week was 9,786 eggs ... when we had 233 participants.

Gosh, I filled out something online, name and then guess?!?!? Also, if people are guessing this late in the game while people are setting, it's no longer fair because now that people are setting, and you can see how many are being set, you can guess more accurately.

Ugh, gotta see if I wrote down my guess anywhere..... nope, a restart of the computer wiped it...... Ok, this will be my guess:

Exactly. Guesses should all have been entered prior to set date, but after the hatch-along participants were all entered. People have been posting how many they set and when I guessed last week (via the web form) there were only 233 participants and now there are over 255 apparently. Doesn't seem there was any consistency to this.
