I lost a Showgirl chick the day before yesterday. Failure to thrive. Poor little thing just got weaker and weaker, until she didn't wake up. So sad...
And on the same day, my Dominique pullet laid her first egg! It was a MONSTER, utterly huge, and I bet it's a double yolker. Yesterday, she laid a normal-sized egg. But that first one...yowch! I'll post some photos later. Got one, but have to run off, now.
