(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
The first chicken I ever owned were ameracanas and Plymouth Rocks. I never bred them, they were pets.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently do not have chickens but am working on it.

(3) What breeds do you have?
I do not have, but am working on getting black and blue Orpingtons.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
One of the current forum members suggested I talk to people on here.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Painting, sculpture, hiking, reading, and sewing

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

We have a mini wire dachshund, and 80 pound mutt, and goats. Everyone gets along great. The big dog thinks she might be a goat. [/FONT]
