I hatched a couple of Isabel Cuckoo Chicks. I know with regular cuckoos the bigger head spots can indicate males and the darker chicks female. I dont know how to tell with the Isabel Cuckoos. One is obviously a lot lighter and one has a little partridge markings along with the lavender yellowish tinged fluff lol. I searched for Isabel Cuckoo Orp chick images and found pics similar to both of these little guys but didnt say male or female.. Sorry they are a little messy, they kept playing in their water today lol
Any Guesses?

Chick Nanny Yes you definitely should get some Lavender Orps! The Lavenders are so pretty. I used to have a bunch and really missed having them. So... I recently hatched out some more plus one that is black Split to Lavender chick. They are the same age as these chicks but eggs from a different breeder.

Cyprus I love you for saying that lol..does that mean the lighter one is a male and I have a pair?

ChickNanny, Thank you! I am in love with them. They are so laid back and snuggly.
Yes. You have a pair.

Thank you! I feel like the luckiest girl alive lol. Out of 12 Isabel Cuckoo shipped eggs, only 2 developed and hatched and I got a pair! Yayyyy :ya
