"English" Orpington

Hello all! It's been awhile since I posted. We have been chicken keepers since 2018. I just brought home thirteen chicks from Cal Ranch. One of them cost twice as much as the other chicks and was labeled "English Orpington." Aren't they all English? Anyone know what I bought? I'm trying to figure out who is who. Thanks! Holly

Like most things from England we took them and Americanized them.
Ours are like the run of the mill hatchery Orpingtons.
English Orpingtons are big and fluffier.

Not exactly. You do have American standard, but well-bred American SOP Orpingtons aren’t like hatchery birds.
