Enhancing egg color?

And I totally understand how feeding the various commercial feeds would give UNIFORMITY to eggs, after all each bird is getting the exact same easily digested nutrients, thus making each respected variety's eggs uniform.

I want to make the eggs darker . . . browns more brown, greens more green, white is white I guess

Uniformity aside, giving my girl(who thinks Im crazy for getting chickens in the 1st place) a dozen eggs that are so chocolatty rich brown, or minty green they almost look fake seems pretty cool.

Other than buying quality feed and birds with great egg color genetics I'm not sure there's much more you can do.
