Hello All
I am looking forward to chatting with people who have chickens, and/or ducks and turkeys. I have some of each and enjoy learning new things about raising fowl.

HELLO and welcome! I’d love to know what birds you have, or is it to many to count I currently have no birds but by next spring that should change!

I have 8 chickens, 2 turkeys (a black molted and a mixed breed) and 3 Peking ducks. They really are great fun! I highly recommend turkeys. They are my favorite.

I was thinking of getting a couple, but my main fear is blackhead, idk if it’s in my area or not. If I do get turkeys, who should they live with, the chickens? Guineafowl? Or ducks and geese?

Turkeys don't get along well at all with chickens - at least in my experience. I raised a turkey with the ducks and they were friends when they were little, but not anymore. Turkeys do however, enjoy the company of other turkeys. They are very unique in their distinct personalities. I have a Tom who is such the gentleman. He is adorable. Very gentle, sweet creature.
