Enjoying new pen!

Good evening everyone! I am going to try to post some pictures of my ducks first day in the new pen, and the first day to take a real swim. I had as much fun as they did, it was so neat to watch them enjoy the pool! They are tucked into there new house for the night, I am worried about the pine shavings though, they were nibbling on them when I shut the door! I hope they will be ok!

By the way can someone tell me what kind of ducks have I got, I am hoping it is mallards!

I don't know what type of ducks they are but I can say they are definately NOT mallards. They sure are cute though!

Yep, most likely pekins.

It looks like you have grass in your pen?? I gave up early on putting bedding in the pens and just let them enjoy the grass. Much easier on me this way and they really just enjoy the grass and the mud! They can eat anything that naturally is on the ground too and no worries about them eating the bedding.
