I have a turkey hen named Annora. She will get a very enlarged crop during hot weather. It becomes enlarged because she drinks tons of water! I don't want to take the water away from her but she just drinks to the point that I am afraid she will burst her crop! We live in Georgia and we are in record breaking temperatures! It almost gets to 100 degrees during the middle part of the day. Is this normal? During the winter it recedes to a normal size. Am I hurting her allowing her to drink? She is a Bronze turkey.
