Enough Ventilation?

Good stuff but I don't know as it would help much with a lightening strike

HA!!! I'll give my brother the golf club ;) I guess I'm not as brave as you... plus having everything get wet while we're building would really suck, we have a real problem with mold, mildew and rot around here....it will get done eventually, everything around here does, it just takes awhile :D

I'm actually made of sugar too, don't like the rain. But instead of lightning, I tend to worry about using power tools that are plugged in during heavy rainfall. A bit of rain usually dries off, just don't paint it before it's dry.

I read about a guy who has been struck by lightning eight times during his life. Wouldn't want him as a building buddy.

My opinion, never too big or too much ventilation.
As long as you keep drafts out in colder weather, they will be fine.
I would definitely keep the eaves open to allow the humid air an escape in the winter months.
