Thoughts? I have Large flocks of 4 different breeds only one breed showing internal parasitic-like symptoms … easiest route to add to water or topical I’ve found is Eprinex… it’s not just for mites, correct? Suggestions? I believe I’ve treated previously years ago with this for same.. not sure of outcome tbh.

Any ideas and if on the same page any one know the dosage to treat per chick topically?

The dosage of any ivermectin 5 mg per ml is 0.1 ml for each 2 pounds of weight (or 0.05 ml per pound.) Give it on the back of the neck over the spine. Repeat in 14 days. There is an egg withdrawal of about 2 weeks. Valbazen oral supension 0.5 ml given orally once and again in 10 days is a very effective wormer, but doesn’t treat mites or lice.

Ty soooo much!! Amazing insight! So Valbazen is oral only 1x then once more in 14 days?

Should I treat with both or only one? They don’t have mites but definitely some kind of internal parasite. (Worms) egg reduction and diarrhea

The Valbazen is repeated in 10 days. I would use the Valbazen only if you think there are worms. Mites or lice can be treated with Permethrin dust or spray, or you can use the Ivermectin. Ivermectin is said to have lost some effectiveness on worms in recent years due to overuse.
