Eprinex and horses

Can Eprinex be used on horses? The flies and mosquitoes are eating my horses alive this year! Fly repellents don't seem to be working very well......

I am not sure if you can use eprinex on horses, but am fairly sure it would not repel flys or 'squitos.


For my horses I like to use a product called Tri-tec 14. Brush horse, spray - next day brush horse and spray again -- this is usually good for me for a week. http://www.jeffersequine.com/ssc/pr...&dept_id=1271&Area=&browselist=380&sort=&c=11

Have you tried feeding garlic or MSM?

Goodness, Tri-tec doesn't even work for me. The best luck I've had is that I have auto-mist sprayers under my lean-to; it sort of makes for an almost "fly-free/skeeter free" zone, so when they are really getting bugged (sorry for the pun), they can get in out of it there. I've tried about 3 different feed-through supplements, and those didn't really work for me, either.
