ERG are my girls going to be ok???

So I am new to keeping chickens, and today I gave them half an avocado (between 3 birds) mixed in with boiled egg and oats. I was not aware that avocado was poison to them. I have done some reading on it and it says that essentially the meat of the avocado is ok in small amounts for birds as long as you can be 100% sure that none of the skin from the seed is in it. I know none of the skin from the seed was in their bowl and between the 3 of them they ate 1/4 of an avocado.
Do you think they will be ok? and what should I look out for?

I think they should be fine, thats not very much avocado.

I did not know this and gave my chickens an avocado with the skin on...cut in half... several days ago...

they are all still alive!

My chickens clean the skins I put out all the time. We just had a post asking if anyone had ever lost a bird to toxic plants and there were lots of anecdotes if avacodo consumption without problems.

Thanks for settling my mind. One thing is for sure, they LOVED it. I'll be sure not to make a habit out of it.

I guess my girls will have to get glossy feathers some other way
