Ermine color questions

I need some help figuring out coloring for ermine ameracauna. Most of the information I have found pretty much says dominant white crossed with black. Is that correct? I really wanted to have some fun playing with these colors but the only ameracauna I can find in my area that are white are recessive I believe. If their legs are slate colored that would mean recessive, correct?

Yeah dominant white Ameraucanas are rare outside of paint (“ermine”) breeding so you probably have to find someone who breeds that specific color.
