I hatched chicks indoors on May 6th and they have most of their feathers, but not all of their head feathers just yet. I have a brooder plate that I can set up in their little coop, but kinda worried that even with all that, they may get too cold at night while it's still getting into the mid 60s at night. What do y'all think? I'll keep them cooped up for 3 days so they know that's "home". But it's in the upper 80s in the day. Think they'll be fine? There are 4 of them and they're outgrowing the brooder box.
Any help is appreciated and you'd think I'd know this by now but with the weather being all crazy right now, it's just different this time around.
