My DS (17 yrs old) failed ALL his classes this semester. I told him he is not sitting around all summer playing video games or reading he is going to summer school and trying to earn some of the credits he failed.
I asked him a few weeks ago to get me the summer school info from the office. He comes home and says "I asked for the info and they said that the sign up was closed already. The classes stopped taking registration June 1"
I get a call from his math teacher today telling me that he had failed his grade 11 math (he got a 30%) and she suggested taking summer school.
huh...i thought wait a minute....i looked it up on the school board website and the summer school registration closes on Friday June 25
he can still go...
(insert evil laugh here)...he thinks he got away with it....he is going to get up bright and early tomorrow morning and I will drive him to school holding his hand if I have to and sigh that (beepity beep) my self...lol
disclaimer....i know all teens are not like this ..
eta: by this time in his highschool "career" he should have 24 credits...he has 15 and to add reading to the list of what he not going to be going for the majority of the summer
