Escaped peacock

10 days ago one of my peacocks escaped and has been roaming around Watford. I've had attempted many ones to catch him with no luck and was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I've heard of marinating rasians in Whiskey then letting him eat them. Wait for a while let him get drunk then attempt a capture?

I'm not sure I'm qualified to respond, since I recently asked for similar advice, but...

It seems that the best way to catch a free ranging peacock is to herd it gently into an enclosed space (garage, shed, carport, chicken coop, etc.) and then grab him.
I'm guessing that your best approach will be to put food and water in such a semi enclosed space somewhere, probably near wherever he has been turning up to eat. Once you can predict that he's going to be there, and he feels fairly comfortable there, you should be able to accomplish a capture. You'll probably need to be patient about it.

I don't know anything about whiskey soaked raisins, but I'm not sure that sounds like such a great idea.

I agree....bait him into an enclosed area sounds good......and I think getting him drunk wouldn't be a good idea....you really don't know what effects it would have on peafowl... good luck and let us know...

How far from home are they? Mine ran about a half mile away and I was able to chase/herd them back to my house by running behind them. Once they were in the yard, they remembered where they were and went back into their shed by themselves.

Make sure you have a big landing net. We used a big net to catch a peahen that ran away one time. We cornered her and then netted her.
