This morning when I went out to feed the chickens I saw only 9 out of 10. I couldn't find her anywhere and my mom said to check and make sure all the ducks where there. Guess where I found my chicken? The best I can figure is during the evening she managed to get in the duck pen and since it was time to go to bed she went in with them. I let the birds put themselves away at night and just close their doors so I didn't notice. Is it possible that out of 10 chickens I'll have one that escapes? Because I can deal with one free spirited chicken, but I don't want the others to learn.

I say yes!
I have one out of 12 chickens that gets really high up in a tree in their run every night. She has been doing this for 2 weeks now. Its so funny to go out with the flash light to "tuck them in at night" and find her up in the Holly tree above the coop. I think shes the smart one, every morning she out pecking at the gound and happy as can be!
We decited on the name Holly for her ;)
I dont see any problems with it, shes out of the way of other animals and the others havent seemed to catch on to her smart idea yet ;)
