Escaping ducks

We have 4 ducks living in our run and until recently all seemed secure. In the last two days a couple of our ducks have escaped and I wasn't sure how until I saw the little boogers crawl under the wire. Recently we had quite a lot of rain which washed out a couple of spots near the fence edge (the ducks rooting in the mud doesn't help either). Can anyone give me an idea of what I should do to re enforce the fence bottom to avoid this in the future?

You could dig a foot deep pit all around and bury the fence. Thpugh id use a thicker fencing if your gonna do that.

Definitely do something..Railway ties...Rocks or a wire skirt..

Hahaha! So i'm not the only one with escaping ducks! Mine did that too, until i installed tent stakes to hold the wire to the ground.
