I have a starter kit of essential oils from young living, and our hens were attacked the other night. One of them has black rough specks on her face (mites maybe?) and a gouge at the base of her tail from a bite. Are there essential oils I can put on her wound and/or face to help her out?

Lavender is supposed to be a natural antiseptic, I use it on my cat scratches, cuts etc. It is soothing and the scent is relaxing too. Must not be bad for them as my hens wiped out my lavender patch when taken out by my chicken sitter for a yard walk a couple of weeks ago. No side affect from them eating it other than plants dying.
