Ethel is limping

Well, she seems fine so far. I don't think she much fancies being cooped (no pun intended) up in the dog crate but, she does ok. She just sits and when I check her water/food she stirs around and climbs the -3 inch off the ground- roost. She does just fine...no limp and no pain getting on.

PS Now...I am tackling the lice problem! Arg!

Update on Ethel--

I have had her in the Banty coop and she's doing MUCH better. I finally opened the dog crate door for her to get some exercise since she was just sitting on the straw floor and didn't want any sort of atrophy. As soon as I opened the door she started to cluck and peeked out then ran back inside the crate. What a weird O! So, I left the crate door open for her and every time I'd go in to check on her she'd walk herself into the crate...huh? Oh well! So, that's where we are at. She's in the Banty coop with crate door open if she wants to get exercise. I don't know, I think she likes the crate? What do you think?

My light brown leghorn has developed a limp. I checked her feet and found a callous on the one she is favoring. There are no cuts or scabs and the other foot is soft in the same area. Is this bumble foot? If so, how is it treated?
