I'm pushing for big dark girls with less misplaced black. It's going to to be a fun spring and summer growing these pairings out.

MG, are you going to ID the chicks so that you can see how well your color sexing works? I just feather sexed a group of chicks that came from Sand Hill preservation, several breeds, and I leg banded them to see how well I did. The whole process is so much easier in the Cream Legbars!

I thought about you the other day when I was reading a post from some Vet about how he could do surgery to quiten down a Roosters crow......I've always had good service from Sandhill......I have some Rhodebars that are auto sexing and its pretty cool...........Mike

I hatched these from a local breeder. I drove up the hill to get the eggs- Jason lives at 4500 feet and I live in the valley at 70 ft. It was a beautiful drive!

The Boy is the light one. The Girls are always brown. The Dot is cool!

I have tried twice to hatch shipped Partridge Pene eggs. Those are tough to hatch when shipped.

.....!!....OK...in the case of Rhodebars...the boys have white dots and the girls are striped like baby phesants....maybe soon we will figure out how to auto-sex EO's and be pretty accurate. I think someone PG or IG or somebody alot smarter that me said it is a problem with the EO's being wheaton-based....that's about the total ammount of my genecic knowledge
