Pics
Plenty of time - Skeffling says they even feather out differently after the first moult. What you have here, laingcroft, isn't even close to what they will look like as they near POL.

Enjoy the show - every week is a new color scheme! - Glen

They are so beautiful!! A lady quite near me (I think I already posted about these chickens), anyhow, she has the Marraduna variety, and is selling hatching eggs for $25 a dozen. Is this a good price? She just hatched out a bunch, and they are all yellow, look like regular chicks. Thinking I may get some, as I HAVE MY INCUBATOR NOW!!

The next person in line in the States to even be selling (Euskal Oiloa) Marraduna Basque is Steve Wilson. So beware if someone says they have them right now.

Thanks for the warning.

Bayvistafarm is in Canada so maybe they really are Marraduna Basque. Maybe Bayvistafam can post some pictures.

What fun! I'm having a similar situation with my serama chicks. Every day it's like they add something new colorwise. Can't wait until the Basques mature and I can start selecting breeding pairs/trios.

This is her website. There are lots of pictures there. She just hatched out a new bunch March 3rd I believe. Now you guys can tell ME if they are really what she says they are!! If so.. I will go and get me some eggs, lol.
Click on the little box there, and you can see her new chicks.
