Euskal Oiloa ( Basque Thread)

Yes! The problem is that they are too smart!

We had a Pacific storm come through last night. We caught a break this morning so I took pictures.

This is Leela from Mrs. Fluffy Puffy:
I said it on the NYD thread, but it's worth saying again...pretty girl!!
Mrs. Fluffy Puffy is in Texas, but I don't know exactly where. She ships though!
Free advertizing huh?
Thanks! I just sent her a PM. :)
Sent ya one back, 'hun.

I didn't even have to talk about how friendly she is!

Does it really work that way? Light an dark?

It works like that mostly. The light ones become the barred roos. The color is in the hens, so the more orange one usually become the reddish brown pullets. You will know for sure in 6 weeks!

They are so fun!

Okay, another question. If I were to cage up my jerky head roo for a day, I'm sure the submissive roo would take advantage and crow, mate, and do all his roostery things. When I release the head roo, wouldn't there be a big battle? Or will the submissive roo just back down again?

It won't be too bad if the caged boy is in the same pen and the two roos can see each other.

They may posture a bit but not too much. It's worth a shot if it keeps the head roo out of the stock pot!

Yeah, I suppose that's true. As long as they don't mortally wound each other and I end up with nobody!
Thanks.
I'm really hoping he behaves perfectly tomorrow........
