I am interested in helping to preserve and improve this breed. I am just new to breeding and may need some tutelage or help in this department.

I have the facilities and the desire.

I would be interested in the Forum/Fan Club. Got to start somewhere. I think once people see them and learn a little about them they will be hooked as well.

I am working on an Euskal Oiloa site right now and hoping to get a user friendly punbb/fluxBB forum set up. Just figuring out how to embed it correctly as I want all the other links and info together. Skyline, I'm waiting to hear back from Susan on ACE to see what we can figure out. Nicer to go all North American than separate plain US & Canada IMO! Certainly can make sure we get everything linked for breeders and other websites even if everyone else gets other sites set up. This is exciting, it makes me really happy these are going to explode across the US! They are an exceptional breed and deserve it. I am so glad I have been able to have them this past 3 years. This may have happened sooner had my incubator not been a Brower top hatch in 2008 and 2009 and had 2 EO chicks hatch in all that time!

Thank you Young Heritage. Your right, we have to start somewhere. That's great that you have the facilities and the desire to want to help preserve and improve this breed. I will keep you and everyone who has gotten put on the list updated with any changes and additions.

Wow Claire! That is excellent! I think going all North America would be the perfect thing to do as well. I can't wait till others get the Euskal Oiloa, Marraduna Basque. Keep me updated with any changes because Ill be trying to get some updated info on my website. I believe Ill just link as much as possible to your site. Just let me know what you think would be best.

I am OK on the computer but know my limits!

We'll have a breeder page and will totally link to your website and this thread and other Euskal Oiloa threads and pages. Maybe we can have guest articles on them? I hope we can share and credit you for some of these beautiful pictures too

I just love the flock scenes and am looking forward to getting my numbers up once we move! And Young Heritage and all these wonderful people wanting to try these and save them....thanks. I know you won't regret it!

I'll keep you posted by email too Skyline when I have more definite info.

Edited to add, don't want to step on any BYC toes! Will probably just add it to my reference links in Squidoo when it's ready.

I don't mind at all. Borrow which ever pictures you want. I took alot of pictures last time that ill add. I've noticed a true Marradunas tail stays down almost like a wyandotte. I've got some nice looking roos with yellow shanks and beaks with the perfect tail placement. I like the tail a little more erect but Ill be breeding to standard.
I'm not a real computer savy person so let me know exactly what I need to do if you see something not right.
The forum sounds great! Like I said let me know what I need to do.

Hi Skeff! I'm here! I have to sit down and read this whole post tonight and generally catch up - can't wait to see how I can help - and way to go finding more Euskies! How are they related to ours? This is exciting
