Before my brain sorted out what that was, I thought it was a box of CANDY! Looks good enough to eat, lol!

I have read this entire thread, but maybe I missed this in keeping up with the other stuff I read. How much were you asking for a shipment of eggs? Are you just asking for help with postage or would you rather not say on list?

Oh and another thing (starting to sound like Columbo here), have you put your parent stock on a higher protein diet or anything? I think that helped with my hatching last year. We started the breeders' diet in February and the March hatches popped like popcorn!

Those do look good enough to eat Skyline! Like peppermint candies, not omelette! Congratulations on beginning the invasion! Those eggs should be a good size now. My little dudes are starring to grow now, 5 weeks old and nearly as big as the lavender Ameraucana Broodies!

Anyone considering these, realise other breeds you have will pale in comparison...there's something about these little boogers!

Hi! I just sent my reply for my interest in EO eggs! James Meeks of Skyline is sending a general email to remind people if they are still interested!

I had changed my feed 3 times and the gurlz didn't like it. Feed has gotten crazy high now and I was trying new feeds.
Price has changed after the first 25 people on the list. And the price will change after the next 50 people on the list. I don't mind listing the price as of now.
Marraduna Basque Price list
12 eggs shipping and all out the door is $64.45
15 eggs shipping and all out the door is $76.95
25 eggs shipping and all out the door is $125.00
I wrap all my eggs that way. I've had excellent results with this method of packing. Its a little more work but its worth it.

Claire, I've reduced my breeds from 60 something breeds this past summer to 20 breeds now. Ill be downsizing even more before Christmas gets here to make room for More Euskal Oiloa. I love em, they're absolutely fantastic. Where can you get a bird that lays huge eggs, gets nice and meaty, friendly, phenominal foragers, hardy and vigorus and gets to size in a good time frame. Not to mention they're gorgeous. I guess it must be me. Everyone has there breed of choice and this one is mine.

Mine too! We've had well over 40 breeds here and are settling down to about 10 breeds with these at the top of the list.

You know I noticed today watching the babies free ranging with the broody Mommas, how few chickens like to range in grass longer than they are tall, the EOs have no problem with it. I can't count how many photos I have of adults in grass taller than them too. They are so confident and definitely the full package!

Sorry to be neglecting the BYC crowd. Gurlz are starting to lay really good now. Can't wait until this time next year to start hearing others talk about these birds. Its gonna be one big Euskal Oiloa family!
