Evacuation due to hurricane

What should I do with my Ducks who are normally in a coop and duck house while we are away?? Everyone is evacuating and I can't take my ducks. Any ideas?

That's a tough one!

Here are my thoughts - how many ducks do you have?

I would think about making sure there is food available, I would not want them trapped where rising waters due to heavy rains would drown them. If it looks like it would just be for a couple of days, they might be okay if you can place food where it won't float away. I would not worry about things being messy, just their safety.

Also - you may need to be creative, if their usual shelter is not sturdy. Perhaps a sturdier shed could be their storm shelter.

Stacking hay bales up to give them something to sit higher on may help.

Since I don't know where you are or what your setup is, those are the ideas I can offer.
