HaHa I wouldn't doubt if a dominant hen would crow. You are lucky because I've been active on the BYC Indiana Thread and there have been lots of people who have ended up with roos from RK or TSC. Anyone on this Evansville thread should check it out sometime, but be prepared that it is fast-moving-- everyone loves to post. It's a really nice thread)

On August 11th at Central Library they are having an event from 1-5 pm called, "Learn 100 Things at the Library" and one of the things is "Backyard Chickens" with "Barry Good Eggs". I'm planning on stopping by to check it out.

Where's a good place around here to get cheap grain whole-grain's for chicken feed I don't want to buy the pellets at the store. We're new to the whole chicken seem we have three barred rocks and two buff Orpington's any help would be awesome
