Even More Newbie Questions!

Ok, so I've posted a couple times, but I keep thinking about more things...

1. If my run was predator proof, would it be ok to leave the pop door open al all times?
2. When is the soonest I can take my chicks outside/put then in the coop?
3. How tall is the average chicken?
4. What do you guys think of a multi-floored coop for 5 hens?
5. What's PDZ? I've seen it around threads, but I'm not sure what it is...

When they are fully-feathered - 6 weeks. Unless there is heat in the coop - then it can be earlier.
3. How tall is the average chicken?

I'm sure they'd like - put the roost in the upper part.

5. What's PDZ? I've seen it around threads, but I'm not sure what it is...
