Ever had a hen just appear magically?

Few weeks ago, I go down to close the coop and there's a new girl schmoozing with baby rooster. Properties in my neighborhood are all 3 acres+, my neighbor has a decent flock, assumed she came from here barn but when asking her, no RIR in her flock and for a while.... so where did that mysterious crazy eyed girl came from remains a mystery lol. She's super friendly too, likes to be held and will beak your leg hair to get fed... kinda like my ex wife.

Pretty sure they ride in on box turtles... get your turtle problem under control and that will solve the magic hen issue....

LOL,, never had a hen appear, roosters yes, and most recently a few day old turkey. We think it was grabbed by a hawk and dropped as the hawk flew over (or near) my place. The flock accepted it as if it had always been there.


Send those box turtles here, I like free hens! LOL
