Ever hear of this sexing trick?

The OEGB clutch has become 3 boys and 3 girls according to my eyes. Only just coming 5 weeks but the combs are so obvious plus the behaviors.

Hubby got a second clutch of straight run. These are looking like maybe buff brahmas bantams? I tried looking around here and Google to identify breed. Feathered legs, buff coloring with some black in wings so far. Only 2/3 weeks old on these.

I did this with about 30 chicks at my local farm store (with an employee, as they suggested it) and then vent sexed them directly after. It was right more than it wasn't, but 50-50 statistics often go that way before evening out eventually. So while it may give a clue, I don't think it's a hard and fast indicator and I wouldn't give credence to it.
