PINK BILLED BUFF POMERANIAN? i supposedly have these eggs hatching as i type... so do they exist...?? ive never heard of them

I've been eyeing Pomeranian geese for a while now so I have done a little research on them. The saddleback Pomeranian here in the U.S. come in two varities, Grey and Buff. Their bills, legs and feet should be a pink color so...I would definitely say that you have some legit eggs hatching. The "pink billed" part should be a given, as that is the standard, so I think the person was just being a little over descriptive. If you want some good pics, Holderreads have them on their website. After doing some more research I have to correct myself...kind of. I found an article that talks about the decline of the authentic Pomeranian here in the U.S. and how they revitalized the breed by crossing with Embden geese. The result of these crosses has changed some of the historical aspects of the Pomeranian. In fact, according to this article, the APA standard says their extremities should be orange-red not the orignial pink-red. Maybe that is why you recieved specifically "Pink-billed" Poms. It will be interesting to see yours grow out and see what you have.

Wow...they have a really nice website and quite the little hobby farm. I'm kind of jealous!! Those Poms definitely look like they have more of a pink-red bill and feet than orange colored. I wish they had more pictures though. How many eggs do you have hatching??

A Pomeranian is spose to have Pink bill. I've seen some with orange bills but I'm not sure where the Orange came from for the bills but it may have been for genetics....?

There farm is sweeeeeet!!!i go there... lets say probably two much!!!!!

ETA: Oh! and if you go to that link and hit poultry...scroll down until you see mixed duck. that rouen hen is mine!! i gave it to him after he had a predator attack!!
