Ever See Hens Like This ??

I have also had a yellow golden hen that had the male tail feathers and was fertile. She never developed any of the colored cape feathers, but always the tail.
 
happens from time to time with peafowl too, seen many pics and stories on here of 4-10 year old hens plumming up as males.
Most say ovary damage is the cause and that the hormone change is to blame.
The soy thing is new to me, who knows...
one way or another though, estrogen is now being over ridden by testosterone.
