Ever seen a duck fairy egg?

The girls have been laying big, beautiful eggs ever since they came to live with us. Today, I found this:

The chicken egg on the right is about the size of your average large egg from the grocery store.
The duck egg on the left is about the size of a golf ball.
I thought it was so cute!

I have seen those and yes they are cute most have no yolk either.

I love it when I get chicks or ducklings beacuase they start out laying tiny little eggs, but I have never seen a tiny egg from a mature chicken I have seen plenty of double yolks though.
