Evergreen State Fair Poultry Show - Monroe, WA - Sept. 1st - 3rd

Hey all,

The Evergreen State Fair in Monroe WA will have poultry on display September 1st through 3rd. I have 2 birds entered and will be there all day on the 1st (the day of judging). Is anyone else going to be there?

I'll be there too. Taking 22 of my birds and hoping I won't be bringing that many back!

Unfortunately I can only choose one fair, and we are much closer to the Evergreen fair than we are to the Puyallup.

Just 2 Araucanas. Hopefully someday soon I will be at the point where I have more showable birds to enter. But I don't envy you all the work it must be to prepare so many birds!

Well, thankfully most of those 22 birds are ducks so I won't be doing much to them. I'm not looking forward to the the chickens though. That's for sure. My night will be full tonight.

I don't think I'm even gonna bathe mine, just scrub & oil their legs & feet.

Hubby and I were going to go to the fair, but won't be able to make it till this weekend. Good luck all on entries!

Just FYI, you'll miss the poultry altogether then as the birds have to go by 1700 on Friday the 4th.
