I'm good, kinda stressed, my ducks haven't been wanting to go up, and my babies are finally joining the big ducks all day tomorrow so I'm probably a nervous wreck lol

Oh I completely understand I was broken hearted when my geese didn't want to follow me around anymore because i was no longer needed as a protector and mom *tear*

yeah i mean thats always the hardest part , you know when they just like ' thanks for being my mom but now I'm just gonna ignore you' but i mean they'll still come up to me and let me pet them, and for the first couple of days i think they'll follow me still but then they're gonna be independent

Yeah that's the worst my flock is really independent but I have a few that still like attention my scovies are sweet but 'no touchy' because they were already about 6 weeks and completely feral when I got them so it took a lot of work before I could even glance at them and not have them run in terror but now they follow me when I clean the coop to investigate and sometimes they bump into me as a 'hi' and they even let me pet them when they eat!One hen Muttly loves to be pet but only when she wants to be and Oreo just doesn't care and Papaya my roo is super fluffy he's a silkie/frizzle mix he's also super sweet and I could go on and on....

, yeah i know how you feel, the first muscovy i got which i still have was so scared of me, but now she loves me , i got her and her babies which knew me and therefore were never scared of me. And now they all just kinda come up and try to get there own separate attention. I actually like when they grow up because then i can see them fly and know i did a good job getting them to that point in life

That's awesome I have a question I have my two drakes and their both about to get there wings back(I cut them) should I let them or will they fly away my neighbors didn't cut theirs and they flew all over and I had to help catch them(well I didn't have to I wanted to) I would be so hurt if they left will they?
