That's just for the bird then a good sturdy cage for a goffin is about another $1000 with that mandible and escape artist tricks and they love to chew so you have to constantly have lots of toys for them and if you don't they will get bored and start plucking themselves and you have to spend several hours a day with them (which I could do)oh and I must have a male for parrots can easily become sexist so that also takes more money so I'm out already at least $2500
