Who are you getting your parakeet or conure from? 

I am picking up the keets on the day after Christmas. I found them on Craigslist. The conure was on Craigslist too but I think they hate me..

Craigslist is sometimes risky, you can't trust everyone who's selling there. To me it sounds like whoever is selling those birds isn't a responsible seller, I mean...she even hung up on you!

Yeah. There has been a TON of scams lately. The keet one isn't a scam though.

She has texted me. Given me her name and email,ext. She told me she would be out of town for the week. I think she is just a regular person.

I'm sorry people get annoyed with me too especially when I know way more about poultry then they do then they get all angry because they find out they actually don't know as much as they thought one lady thought a rooster and a chicken were different SPECIES!!!!!!! She ended up really confused and walked off *shrug*
