I'm so bummed.

My bator is in lockdown as of this morning - in a corner surrounded by a cardboard perimeter are the silkie eggs due in 3 days, and in the two automatic turner trays that are left in the turner are the rest of the eggs that are due on Jan 26th.

I have two thermometers on the bator floor - since lockdown one is showing 103F and one is showing 96F - and they are next to each other!

I have NO idea what the real temp is in there!

AND the automatic turner trays seem to be stuck and not moving!

Humidity is fluctuating too, for now it's around 65% - is this enough?

At this rate I doubt to be hatching any babies at all

I feel your pain

Right now I've got a 4% hatch rate with my broody with ONE pip and day 22. At this rate I'll switch to incubators though after reading all of this maybe not

I think it must be "bad incubator day" because I am having the same issues. Woke up to 80% humidity and 99 degrees. It was perfect last night. I got it stabilized but I have no idea how well the hatch is going to go at this point.

Well all I can say is don't switch to an LG. Mine are going in the garbage as soon as this hatch is done! My new Brinsea is working perfectly - temp has not fluctuated and humidity is steady, just add water every 3 days.
