Everything is coming up chickens

I do plan to feed their egg shells back to them, once I get some laying hens.

That is how I am too. Not a day that goes by I don't have chickens cross my mind. For example today I got a nice cabinet somebody was throwing out. After cleaning and dragging the heavy cabinet into the house, I couldn't find a spot for it in my house. Needless to say the cabinet is now in the chicken coop to help organize the chicken stuff.

I've read on here that they sell oyster shells for chickens to eat, and I've talked with a few people who raised chickens and they said feeding the shells back to them puts the calcium back in and gives them stronger shells.

I went to my daughter's house, and saw that one of my grand kids had broken the glass top of their coffee table. My daughter was about to take it out and burn it, but I thought Hmmmm, it wouldn't take much to turn that on one side and make nesting boxes out of it.

I have it outside, waiting to be put to use.

Im so excited! Today we finished the siding on the coop and cut out the holes for the windows and doors!!!

I sit in the garage with the door open, so I can watch them undisturbed (and also be comfortable).
