Evil Chick?

I have a chick hatched on April 1st that I am pretty sure is evil. When I go to the brooder shed, this chick starts pacing. When I put my hand in to feed or water, the chick jumps in my hand and bites me.

Has anyone else had a super aggressive chick?

I am guessing it as a cockerell I have never had such an aggressive chick.

"His" name is Silly Goose, all the chicks that hatched on April Fool's have joke names. "He" is 4 weeks old today.

I am telling you, I have never had a chick that has had issues like this.

Lol, no, I have not tried to peck the little devil. When he bites, he goes all for it.

We have a friend that owns a country store and has a bachelor flock of chickens for the "city folk" to watch. Normally I keep my favorite roosters and he takes the rest. I can't send this little turd over there, so his name may end up being dinner.

Hopefully one of the other ameraucana chicks turns out to be a roo.

if he tries to peck you or is about to attack you poke his back with your index finger
not too hard so his back snaps just prod it a little

I moved him outside and let the little stinker free range. He will still run right up to you when you go outside, but has not shown any aggression. I am guessing that he needs lots of stimulation to keep from being mean?
I keep calling him a he, but that is just based off of personality. No signs based off of appearance.

If the chick is 4 weeks old in those pictures then I'm leaning her just being a mean pullet. I would start chasing her and "pecking" her.
